For Grantseekers

Masto Foundation is dedicated to implementing more equitable grantmaking practices, both within our organization and in the broader field of philanthropy.

In line with our values, we have committed to providing multi-year funding to our current nonprofit partners and those we’ve pledged to support. This approach fosters solidarity and ensures a more lasting impact in the communities we serve. However, it also limits our ability to issue new grants.

All our funding for 2025 and 2026 has been allocated to organizations that align with our funding criteria, and we are not currently accepting unsolicited proposals. We will continue to invite prospective new partners when more funds are available.

Although we do not have funding available a this time, if you represent a grassroots organization led by or for people of color and/or underserved LGBTQ+ individuals, with a strong commitment to promoting equity, justice, and power-building in communities that have faced systemic discrimination, we are open to speaking with you. We appreciate the importance of your work and understand that navigating the philanthropy landscape can be challenging, especially for communities that have been historically marginalized and denied access to wealth-building opportunities. If we can share knowledge or provide feedback from our experiences in philanthropy, please feel free to reach out.
